About Mindful Cambridge
Compassionate professional behaviour
Cambridge University Medical School is working with Dr Sarah Temple MRCGP and EHCAP to develop a program which fosters compassionate, professional behaviour. Our vision is to promote mental health and awareness amongst medical students themselves.

Person-centred Care
We aim to keep the patient, and when appropriate, their relatives, carers and other advocates at the centre of our minds. Understanding the social context of health and illness will help us treat the patient holistically.
Personal Wellbeing
We want to foster the same kind and compassionate attitude we have for our patients, for ourselves. This includes remembering to look out for our own mental and physical well-being, both now and when we start working. Asking for help from colleagues and engaging with GP services is key.
Coping Strategies
We want to help students develop coping strategies, including through the use of Mindfulness and reflection. We hope this will help them to approach situations with intrigue and compassion.
We will be having a number of events throughout the year. Stay tuned and we hope to see you there!
